SURVEY OF SSR
MEMBERS
Many thanks to
members who completed this survey recently.
It has provided the
Committee with a lot of useful information and some new ideas.
Most of you have
indicated that you would like local meetings and we are keen to hear of your
ideas for these. Do you have any suggestions about where they should be,
what format they should take, (should they be small workshops), what
subjects should be covered?
Would anyone like to
help organise one? - that would be great!
If you have any
ideas or suggestions Please contact Karen by phone

Here is a summary of

What would make
the SSR a more useful Society for you?
[1 reply per topic]
Nothing more- it is
excellent as it is; newsletter; publications; regular information on what
Society is doing and relevant updates on subjects; bigger membership; more
clinical relevance; Guidelines and Standards set by SSR; more information on
rehab services, developments, research; more meetings; workshops on certain
therapies; more in-depth neuro-specific, courses tend to be over-view; list
of web-sites which could keep us up to date on the scientific research;
local meetings, greater knowledge of the SSR and its work/function, more
contact with other members perhaps, more info on head injured people, more
information on updated methods of rehab, more focus.
