Isla Cameron
Isla qualified as
a physiotherapist in 2002 from Glasgow Caledonian University. Since
graduating she has been employed by Ayrshire and Arran Health Board as a
rotational physiotherapist. She has recently been working in the young
neurological rehabilitation and stroke rehabilitation wards and has a
special interest working within this field.

Alison currently works as a trained nurse in a private
nursing home . She also has community, general and coronary care
nursing experience. She is a
member of the RCN Rehabilitation Nurses Forum as well as the Working with
Older People Forum

Mrs Rena Findlay
Rena
qualified from the Glasgow School of Occupational Therapy in 1977, and over
the years has gained a broad range of experience across the physical field,
covering acute care, rehabilitation, vocational and community practice in
the UK and overseas. She has recently completed her tenure on the Scottish Board of the College
of Occupational Therapists.

Dr. Pam Harper
Pam has been Treasurer of the
SSR since 1988, and more recently became
Membership Secretary. She is a Trustee and Treasurer of the Trust Fund of
SSR.
Pam was previously a Consultant in Geriatric Medicine with an interest in
rehabilitation.
She is now a Disability Analyst working as a full time Medical Advisor for
Medical Services.
Pam is also Treasurer/ Membership Secretary of the Scottish Posture and
Mobility Network, and is a member of the Society in Research and
Rehabilitation and the British Society of Rehabilitation Medicine.

Jacqueline Kelly
Jacqueline was a
mature student who qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1998. She has
worked in Fernan St Disability Resource Centre since 1999. Her work is with
people aged 16-64 who have a physical disability. Initially she worked in
the residential unit but her role has expanded to cover all of Glasgow.

Ian McMillan
Ian McMillan qualified as an occupational therapist in
1984, acquired a Masters degree in education in 1993 and has worked in
Glasgow, Aberdeen and Edinburgh. He is currently a lecturer and course
leader for a postgraduate diploma course in occupational therapy at Queen
Margaret University College, Edinburgh.
Ian is involved in the education of students from
undergraduate to postgraduate levels and assists in the supervision of
MSc/PhD projects in the management of chronic pain.
He is currently pursuing his Doctoral studies in
Education at Stirling University. He has specialist interests in learning
methods (Problem Based Learning), the role of the occupational therapist in
the management of chronic pain and the role of the occupational therapist in
GP practices.

Dr. Bhupinder Panesar
Bhupinder studied medicine at Glasgow University and trained in
Rehabilitation Medicine at the Astley Ainslie Hospital in Edinburgh.
He took up consultant post at the Southern General Hospital in February 2000.
His main areas of work are with the Glasgow Community Physical Disability Teams
and in the Physically Disabled Rehabilitation Unit at the Southern General
Hospital.

Sandra Sexton
Sandra Sexton
qualified as a Prosthetist/Orthotist in 1988 and is now Director of the
National Centre for Training and Education in Prosthetics and Orthotics at
the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.
She is
involved in management, education and research with a special interest in
outcome measurement in the field of Prosthetics and Orthotics.
